Riley Huntley (talk · contribs · count) I am a newer user who would like some basic comments and suggestions on how I could improve my edits. -- Cheers, Riley Huntley talk 15:59, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
My primary contributions to Wikipedia are vandalism reverts, warning users, creating stubs and accounts with the ACC interface.
  2. Have you been in editing disputes or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future? If you have never been in an editing dispute, explain how you would respond to one.
To my knowledge, I have never been in a editing dispute. I would respond to an editing dispute by leaving a message on the talk page of the users involved about the three revert rule, start a discussion on the articles talk page and inform Administrators about the conflict on the administrators' noticeboard.

Reviews

  • You appear to be a very well organized editor. Looking at your edits I want to truly thank you for all your anti-vandal contributions. Keep up the good work! Peter.C • talk • contribs 07:43, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • You do create a very good impression, generally. I have found your responses and comments mostly very helpful and encouraging. However... (there's always a "however" somewhere!) having looked through quite a bit of your and others' talk pages and your contributions, I feel it necessary to highlight what I see as a flaw, a mere fleck of rust on your M-16, if you will :] Mostly you are very good and helpful, but now and then you seem to be a bit quick on the trigger in your responses, especially when you feel that you have been challenged. I would like to suggest that stepping back for a few minutes when you most want to jump in and reply would be a good idea. Please, this is by no means a general thing: it is isolated instances only. Overall, you seem to be doing a good job all round. David_FLXD (Talk) 12:53, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the review, I admit that I am and lately I have been trying my hardest to not be quick on the trigger. -- Cheers, Riley Huntley talk 15:41, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
